The first thing you need to know about Zach is that he is does things his own way. He looks to the future and believes that the real estate “status quo” is over. As one of the youngest broker/owners in Tampa Bay, he brings a laid back, yet aggressive when needed, approach to real estate sales. In fact, while in flight school during his time in the Marines, he was reprimanded for being too “surfer dude.” But…a Marine is a Marine, and Zach dedicated to getting the mission done.

After leaving the service Zach joined his family’s architectural design firm, serving as business development director for the Southeast. He focused on building relationships with prominent retail, residential, and mixed-use real estate developers, laying the foundation for the firm’s current growth in Florida. Zach also introduced new, passive marketing techniques to the firm’s overall marketing strategy, and gained valuable insight on how to incorporate emerging tech, such as VR and AR, into the real estate marketing.

Whether it be design, development, or sales, the Kratzer family has alway been connected to the real estate industry. Curious about the sales side of the industry, Zach started selling real estate in 2013. He fell in love with the unique challenges that each listing brought and how each individual property must approached by the right angle to ensure that it was properly marketed. Although at the time he was still “green,” he knew that he wanted to be a broker and owner of his own company, and set a plan to make it happen.

With the goal of owning his own brokerage set, and with his G.I. Bill available to him, Zach decided to attend law school. Not only did he gain a deeper knowledge of contracts, real property, and land use, but also learned how to conduct proper analysis and build solid negotiating positions. What he gained in law school has made him one of the most knowledgeable brokers in Tampa Bay.

Zach is a multi-million dollar producer with over a decade of experience in the real estate industry. He specializes in property analysis, property presentation, negotiation and transaction coordination. Every listing package he generates is bespoke, built around the heart of each property. He uses the newest technology and techniques to maximize exposure, and then goes to bat for his customers, aggressively negotiating the best possible deal.

Throughout his life Zach has never been content with the status quo. He knew that the only way to make an impact on the real estate industry was to establish an independent brokerage with vision, and a commitment to doing things the right way, not the easy way. Zach is proud of what we have built thus far, and he looks forward growing Kratzer Property Group into a major competitor in the Tampa Bay market.

Hobbies: Trading stocks, hiking, traveling, photography, sailing, history, and playing guitar
